Here's how it works...

Reference

All portraits are done from photographic reference, unless the pet owner requests a meet-and-greet. The prices for these are a bit higher to cover the cost of gas and for the additional time involved.  If you do request a meet-and-greet,  I will meet you and your pet within a 50 mile radius of Jacksonville, Florida, do a few quick sketches, take a few photos, and spend a little time getting to know your friend.

If you opt to just send photos, try to take your pictures from different angles and perspectives (not just straight on shots, or shots of the top of the dog's head).  Mix it up. Try low angle shots, profiles, or even action shots. The more I have to work with, the better.  Send your photos to:   halltoons@aol.com. 

Bio

If a meet-and-greet is not possible, I request a brief bio of your pup or your kitty.  Tell me some of his quirks, or what her favorite toy might be.  What part of your pet's personality sets them apart from all the others?

Prices

Prices start at $300 for a pencil portrait (12x19) and $650 for a full-color pastel (12x19). (Add $100 for a meet-and-greet).  See my portfolio page for examples.

Shipping and Handling

All drawings are carefully packaged and sent via first class US Mail (usually no more than $15-$20). Rates vary depending upon US or International postal codes. Allow 3-5 days for shipping.
